Short game and putting is also often times what is holding a student back from breaking their next scoring barrier. Driving and striking the irons better is great for the score but ultimately you have to get the ball in the hole. That requires a competent short game.
We know the frustration of hitting the ball just off the green in 2 strokes then taking another 3 or 4 to get the ball in the hole. That is why we built an indoor chipping green with realistic reaction and completed it with a state of the art PuttView system. We can work on those short chips around the green and using the simulators we can work on the inside 100 yard shots that also may plague you.
PuttView is a tool that shows the aimline and break of every putt on the green and then tracks your ball to show you whether or not you started your ball on the intended line. It then summarizes your data, shows you your tendencies and provides suggested drills that it will guide you through. We use it to help dial in putting.
The average PGA Tour player hits about 12 greens a round, that means they MISS 6 greens a round. Just like us they miss a lot of greens! From there they anre able to get up and down to save par 60+% of the time. This is what separates a lot of really good players and great players
If you want to score better, book a short game or putting lesson.
